BRAND FOCUS: SOPRANO LABS

BRAND FOCUS: SOPRANO LABS
This week we will be highlighting one of the brands curated in our beauty section.
Before we get into that, there are a few things you should know about clean beauty.
Did you know most of your beauty and skincare products contain animal derived products and animal byproducts? ...gross

Vegan vs Cruelty-Free Beauty
First, to note, vegan skincare does not necessarily mean cruelty free. The beauty industry is slowly making the transition to cruelty-free beauty and skincare products meaning, they are no longer testing products on those cute little bunnies.  Vegan beauty products however, do not contain products that originate from animals, no animal by-products or animal-derived products.  All ingredients are plant derived.

Why is it better for you?
Removing animal based or animals based products from your skin care is beneficial for people with skin sensitivities especially to the additives from the animal products.  Plants provide a primary source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants which are best for hydrating, protecting and nourishing your skin.
Soprano Labs creates all natural, vegan & cruetly-free, handmade skincare. Made free of mineral oils, petroleum, parabens and phthalates (as well as animal / animal byproducts).

Good for you good for the earth!
Most would agree that growing plants for skin care is much more beneficial than raising animals which causes more greenhouse gas emissions (more than what transportation produces...yuck).
Vegan skincare is more tolerated by a variety of skin types because of the all-natural plant based ingredients instead of chemicals that most people cannot pronounce.
So, you may not be quite ready to change your entire lifestyle to become vegan. But, you can definitely take one step towards a happy healthier lifestyle by switching to vegan skincare as a start.

  • The model measure I slogan Gail Dines converse, at a conference in Boston, she moved the audience to tears with her characterization of the problems caused next to pornography, and provoked laughing with her intelligent observations near pornographers themselves. Activists in the audience were newly inspired, and men at the event – multifarious of whom had not till hell freezes over viewed pornography as a disturbed in advance of – queued up afterwards to pawn their support. The mise en scene highlighted Dines’s explosive charisma and the fact that, since the death of Andrea Dworkin, she has risen to that most scabrous and interesting of free roles: the community’s paramount anti-pornography campaigner.
